Chainbreaker

Redesign of Chainbreaker, a hand-illustrated and accessible introduction to the world of bike repair. Through working at assorted bike shops in New Orleans, the co-authors gathered a wealth of experience, then share it with would-be mechanics in this book.

The first half of this book is a complete repair manual to get you started on choosing, fixing, and riding your bike. The second half reprints all four issues of Chainbreaker zine, whose originals were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

Poster for Walls of Pride, a tour of African American murals in Portland, Oregon held by the Dill Pickle Club.
The tour encompassed visits to over a dozen works of art. Adriene Cruz and Isaka Shamsud-Din, two of the featured muralists, were guest speakers at the sites of their work.
