Slanted no. 48: Seoul!

My students in the Temple University Japan class “Zombies, Cults & Hoarders: The Dark Side of Design Theory” and I had a new essay about the Seoul-based graphic design studio Gute Form called “We’re designers, not saints.” published in the latest issue of Slanted.
It’s a cheeky feature. An excerpt:
Scene: party.
Boy meets girl. At a party in Seoul. They vibe. They dance. They kiss. They fall in love. They pursue graphic design projects together outside of their day jobs. Eventually, they quit their day jobs to start their own design studio, Gute Form. Somewhere in there, they get married. (Potentially not in that order.)
Thank you to Omar Bakri, Ranime Chafra, Karin Inoyama, Anson Jones, Maddy Liaw, Paxton Peter-Krueger, Madeline Schneider, and Kai Shelton for being down 2 clown.
