We created a simple and effective identity for Stepdown, a new art gallery in Heretaunga Hastings, Aotearoa New Zealand run by longtime friends Kurumi Kido and Mark Anderson.

The identity consists of three logotype variations, a simple and direct typographic palette and a minimal color palette.

The typographic choices for the Stepdown identity are derived from the display lettering on the former power plant which houses the gallery.
